What to know before booking your hair and makeup team

How Far in advance should I book services?

We are in high demand during the months May-October - As soon as you've locked down a date reach out! We will book your bridal preview 3-5 months before your wedding date!

Does NB have a minimum service requirement?

Yes, We do have a minimum requirement during high demand months. May-October on Saturdays we require at least Bride + 3 guests receiving both hair and services. If you do not meet our requirement we would charge our day rate of $1000. Travel, Early morning or additional services are not included.

Should I book a Bridal Preview?

We highly recommend booking a hair and makeup Bridal Preview as they eliminate any concerns you may have. This also gives us an opportunity to get to know you better so we can best suggest services or changes to your day of look. We only book bridal previews Monday-Thursdays

What would my bridal timeline look like?

Each of our talented team members might require more or less time. In your consultation we discuss your day of timeline + all the extras that come with getting ready. During your 1:1 we will suggest a start + finish time. NB will provide you with a timeline per service appointment but please know that it's more of a suggestion rather than a timeframe. We require that all guests receiving services are present and ready at the start of the day. This insures there are no delays in our timing.

Average time for a services is between 45 min- 1 hour

I would like to provide my own makeup, Is that allowed?

If you have allergies, sensitivities or would just like to use your own products, We are 100% okay with that, However just know that we cannot guarantee the longevity of your products as we know our pro kit can withstand the test of time + kisses.
However we do highly reccomened for each guests to bring their own lipstick for the purpose of retouching.

FAQ

Does NB do destination weddings?

Yes! We travel everywhere! We often bundle your services for an incredible package! We do require travel + hotel accommodations & we will offer you a really great rate on services!

We understand that choosing your vendors can be a difficult task, If you're inquiring services with us - and are just looking for information, most FAQ are answered on our website + service menu. If you have more questions we would be happy to book you in for a 30 min free phone consultation.

I would like a blow-out for my service, is that possible?

We understand that blow outs are very trendy this season, however to ensure longevity our stylist typically do not provide blow outs. If you're requesting one you must let us know in advance as this will add time + $ to your booking.

Is it necessary to have hair extentions?

Short answer, yes. Espically if you're looking for a sytle that requires volume, or length! However styles like the ever so famous HOLLYWOOD waves are a perfect example of why extentions are important! The texture of the hair extentions really makes a difference on the longevvity of the style!
